web marketing for profit online business trainingOver the last few years we have created a lot of websites for various businesses from large corporate companies down to small home businesses.

One thing they all have in common is the ability to be able to enter their own content. Another common trait is they would like to add a shopping cart at some time and be able to link to social media. And finally be able to make adjustments to their website at any time.

All these things are very easy to do using a program like WordPress. We can set up the foundation for you and then help you add content, shopping cart, private areas and so much more or do it all for you.

We have two major programs we use.

We have two separate portals for our services and they can be used separately or mixed and matched.

Self Managed for $25 a month

Our self managed portal is a DIY service where we will set up a business level hosting account for you with its own cpanel. We will link it with your domain and load the most common plugins for you so it is already to go.

We install the Canvas theme for you because then we can all work together, it is very customisable, ecommerce ready and fully supported premium theme.

Unlike other businesses who try and do it all themselves you have us and all the tutorials to help you making it a painless and exciting adventure.

This can be applied to a new website or refurbish an older site.

Fully Managed fro $400

The fully managed website is delivered on our other website at http://wmfp.com.au.

Again it can be applied to a new website or used to refurbish an older site. In this program we do it all for you and usually charge hosting by the year and quote on the number of pages etc you require.

Many small businesses use this service and then transfer over to the self hosted model so they can manage themselves. We use WordPress for these site too for the same reason.

Why Do We Use WordPress.

Although WordPress has retained ease-of-use and practically the same “back end” interface for a number of years, the features list has grown with every new release. Menu configuration and media handling are two good examples of things that have got steadily more powerful with no sacrifice made in usability.

The various enhancements in new versions of WordPress are what has made the platform evolve into a great CMS for all types of websites, and not merely a solid blogging platform.

The learning curve is just right

Creating a new post or page in WordPress and uploading some images or a movie is simplicity itself, to the point that real technophobes can use WordPress without feeling intimidated.

The theme selection is as good as it gets

There are thousands of great WordPress themes, which you might think of as templates, available, and many of them are completely free. Of course there are also even better premium themes available for a small fee usually under $100.

WordPress is easy to monetize

Whether you are selling products directly from your site, or monetizing with ads and affiliate offers, WordPress makes it easy.

Ads are easily inserted using widgets and eCommerce can be handled by a range of plugins including the popular WooCommerce.

There are some superb plug-ins

You can extend the functionality of your website with various plugins. There are so many quality plug-ins for WordPress that you’d be hard pressed to think of any functionality you cannot quickly add to a WordPress site.

Updates just keep coming

As WordPress is so popular, work on the platform never stops. While this sometimes means that keeping on top of updates feels like a never-ending job, it also makes for a system that’s constantly evolving and improving, with new functions being added all the time.

Support is second-to-none

As you would expect from such a popular platform, the support community is active and huge. Aside from the dedicated WordPress support resources, you’ll find an abundance of third-party forums and other options for assistance. If you have any question at all, you can be pretty sure that somebody has already answered it somewhere.

SEO is made easy

WordPress is inherently very SEO-friendly, with features such as the ability to automatically generate search-friendly URLS, but with the addition of a couple of plugins, such as the Google XML Site Map and the All-in-One SEO pack, you can force yourself to maintain good SEO discipline, giving your site the best chance of good search results.
