quentinOver the years I have tried pretty well every type of  Network marketing business (MLM).  From large internationals like Amway and Nutrimedics right through to local companies like Pro Ma and Dominant.

The main reason was not for the money but the training and while I have made money out of most of them there is one thing that always stumped my ongoing participation. Having said this it has helped my non MLM business grow and develop incredibly.

Some people love the process and some people hate it with a passion either because they felt ripped off or had a bad experience. The fact is that it is a huge industry and there are millions of people doing very well. This is not my reason for not doing so well as I loved the experience.

So What Was My Major Problem?

The problem I continually faced with a family of 4 boys was the requirement of nearly all companies for me to have a monthly purchase limit. I had to buy a certain amount of product and encourage my downline to do the same. Some were easier than others but every now and then it got hard.

Why will Viridian Be Different

Viridian is based around electricity and has linked up with Click. Click has more than 130,000 customers, received the Canstar Blue award for most satisfied customers in Queensland in 2015 and is the perfect partner for Viridian. Together, we’re set to provide a first-of-its-kind innovative and responsible energy offering down under!

Lets face it you already pay for electricity and you will for a long time so it is not additional products or replacing a product you already use. It is simply using what you you already use every day and getting a commission for doing it. Introduce others and help them do the same.

Some Statistics Show Some People Doing Great

In 2014, it was estimated that nearly 100 million people around the world were involved in direct selling, creating annual sales figures of over USD $182 billion. Sales have increased by almost 20% over the past 3 years. The Asia Pacific region represents 45% of all global sales.

Statistics compiled in Australia in 2015 suggest:

  • DSA member companies achieved $1.48 billion (AUD) in annual sales
  • Approximately 597,000 independent salespeople were engaged with members
  • Women account for 75% of the direct selling salesforce
  • Complementary healthcare products account for 33% of DSA members’ sales
  • Cosmetics and personal care products account for 22% of DSA members’ sales
  • Household goods account for 27% of DSA members’ sales

What is Direct Selling

Direct selling is the marketing and selling of products directly to consumers away from a fixed retail location. Peddling is the oldest form of direct selling. Modern direct selling includes sales made through the party plan, one-on-one demonstrations, and other personal contact arrangements as well as internet sales.
