Below are some of the types of Multimedia we will be helping you to add to your wordpress site. You can use public video and audio and we will also show you how to create your own. Lets start with a simple audio file. Just click the play button to hear it then go through and look at the rest.

As the Internet has Progressed you will find that lots of the great software we used in the past still works today on the laptop or desktop but fails on the mobile devices and Apple products. By using HTML5 protocols we can overcome this. So in many cases we need to find html5 alternatives.

Multimedia – Audio

This is a simple music file.

“<audio controls><source src=”horse.mp3″ type=”audio/mpeg”>Your browser does not support the audio element.</audio>”

This is the New html5 Audio

Multimedia – Youtube Public Video

This is my friend Megan Washington. We have 11 different video sites your can import from

Again the old youtube plugins now ask you to view on youtube and take you to their site when viewed on mobile.

The new HTML software will do it right within the page on all devices. Many you can use their own embed codes which are multi device but doing it this way gives consistency.

This one is using the FV Plugin and the one below is using the iframe provided by Youtube

The same can be done with other formats like Vimeo below.

Multimedia – Powerpoint Slides Videos

These are great for presentations both with narration and without. I will show you one of each.
Brand New – You can also embed a youtube video in your presentation.

My Slideshare I sent to my wife on Valentines Day. You could add music speaking etc and is all
able to be synchronized

And the new Youtube incorporated with a presentation.

 [slideshare id=843474&doc=msiprompt2-1229229654269946-1&w=599&h=487]

And of course we can make our own and embed using the same html5 player used above for youtube.
